Resize image to an exact size
Marketplaces and forms ask for exact pixels: 600×600 for an Amazon image, 2×2 inches for a US passport photo, 1080×1080 for Instagram.
Pick a file to start.
The resized preview appears here.
Most resize tools let you type any number and leave you guessing whether the result is allowed. This page starts from the sizes that platforms actually require, keeps the aspect ratio, and tells you which mode it used: fit with padding (nothing cut off) or centre crop (frame filled, edges trimmed).
How to use it
Step 1. Drop a photo
Step 2. Pick the required size and the fit mode
Step 3. Download — the page tells you the exact output pixels
Questions
- Fit or crop — which one?
- Fit adds padding so nothing is lost; crop fills the frame and trims the edges. For passport photos, fit with a plain background is usually expected.
- Does resizing up lose quality?
- Enlarging cannot invent detail. Start from the largest original you have.
- Does it upload my photo?
- No — resizing happens in your browser.
